What is CodecFlow?

Do I need to be a robotics expert?
Section titled “Do I need to be a robotics expert?”No. CodecFlow is built to make robotics easier to start. You can work in the browser without setting up a full local robotics stack first.
What can I use today?
Section titled “What can I use today?”Start with SimArena. It is the public browser workspace for robot models, scenes, simulations, data capture, and training workflows.
Is CodecFlow a replacement for ROS?
Section titled “Is CodecFlow a replacement for ROS?”No. ROS is useful for robot software, drivers, and hardware-side systems. CodecFlow focuses on simulation, data, training, compute, and deployment workflows around the robot.
What is Fabric?
Section titled “What is Fabric?”Fabric is CodecFlow’s cloud compute layer for heavier simulation, training, and runtime jobs.
What is optr?
Section titled “What is optr?”optr is the runtime layer for real-time robot programs. It is built around See, Think, Act pipelines across edge devices, cloud compute, and browsers.
