Overview

SimArena is CodecFlow’s browser workspace for robotics. Build robots, run sims, capture data, and prep training workflows — without installing ROS, MuJoCo, CAD tools, or setting up a local GPU. Open a tab, open a project, start iterating.

  1. Build or import a robot.
  2. Design a scene.
  3. Run simulation.
  4. Collect data.
  5. Train and evaluate.
  • Robotics teams that need faster simulation iteration.
  • Researchers collecting demonstrations for robot learning.
  • Developers building agents that need simulated test environments.

LeRobot is the HuggingFace-maintained open-source toolkit and dataset format for robot learning — the closest thing the open-source robotics community has to a shared standard for demonstrations and training pipelines.

CodecFlow co-founder Khalil collaborates with the LeRobot team directly, and SimArena exports demonstration episodes in LeRobot format.

The practical effect: a SimArena project is portable. Train inside SimArena via Fabric, or pull the dataset and train wherever your team already runs jobs — no converter, no CodecFlow-specific format to escape from later.
