$CODEC & Tokenomics

$CODEC is the ecosystem token for CodecFlow.

$CODEC coordinates access, contributor rewards, and marketplace incentives across the CodecFlow stack.

  • Discounts on CodecFlow products where staking applies.
  • Marketplace reputation and priority.
  • Contributor rewards and ecosystem incentives.
  • Alignment between builders, contributors, and users of the stack.

$CODEC is intended to support five core areas of the CodecFlow ecosystem.

$CODEC can be used to unlock or improve access across CodecFlow products and ecosystem features.

This may include things like usage tiers, partner programs, early access, advanced platform features, or discounted access to certain parts of the stack.

CodecFlow is open source. The ecosystem improves when contributors build tools, fix integrations, write docs, improve examples, create workflows, and support new robots or models.

$CODEC is designed to reward useful contribution, not just attention.

Over time, contributor programs may include bounties, reward pools, marketplace earnings, review incentives, and reputation-based access.

CodecFlow is building toward a marketplace where builders can share and reuse robotics workflows, operators, datasets, simulations, and deployment templates.

$CODEC can help align creators and users inside that marketplace.

Creators should be rewarded when their work is useful. Users should be able to discover trusted workflows. The ecosystem should make it easier for good tools to spread.

Some token utilities may roll out progressively as products, marketplace features, staking systems, and contributor programs mature. Final parameters for any active staking, rewards, discounts, marketplace fees, or governance processes will be published before they go live.
